Magic Chest
The Magic Chest Building gives you three menus, let's do a quick overview of that.

Chest
Here you can open the decor boxes you have accumulated or purchase additional decor boxes if you like.
The decor bundle menu is also included on this page. Once you have completed a decor theme collection you can obtain additional rewards here.

Buff
This page shows you all of your accumulated active buff or bonus attributes. You can also access the shield menu from here.

Index
This page shows you all of the available decor in Top War as well as the highest level you have of each item.
For additional information click on a decoration square and it will flip displaying additional details about the bonus it provides.
For this example I clicked on the Purple Tile
After clicking the Purple Tile in addition to seeing the bonus attributes there is now an additional link "View Details" click this and another menu will pop up
This will display how many of each level of that specific item you have on your map, it will also tell you how many you have total in your inventory.

Available on this menu is "Recycle All" clicking this will remove all of those specific items off of your map and place them back into your inventory. This is useful for removing large quantities of items off your island quickly.

Let's Talk about Decorations
A neat feature in Top War is the ability to customize the look of your island with various decorations. Many of these have buffs that directly affect your gameplay let's try and dispell some myths and gain some knowledge here today!

How to obtain Decorations
There are 3 different types of Decor Chests:
Green
Gold
Red

These can be directly purchased if you want to spend the money but there are many ways in which to obtain them for free from various activities in Top War.

You can get one for free periodically from the Magic Chest Building.

Proper Utilization
Because of the way game is played you would think that merging all of your decor is the best game plan however, in order to maximize the benefits that your decor provides you need to pay attention to the Max Effective quantity. Each decor piece has varying amounts of effectiveness that impact the bonuses that they provide.

For the purposes of this tutorial we will focus on Purple tiles (purple floor pieces).

Purple Tiles
Each one placed Increases the Training Speed of your troops by a small amount when utilized properly.

The Max Effective amount of Purple Tiles is 100.

What does this mean?
It means that in order to obtain the maximum benefit of these tiles you should have 100 of them placed, first at level 1.

But merging them and making them higher level means they're more effective right?
No, this is not entirely correct.

Let's take a look at the numbers to make better sense of this.

Due to other boosts provided by other items removing all Purple Tiles leaves me with a base Training Speed Increase of 42%
Placing 1 tile at level 5:
Leaves me with a 0.9% increase to Training Speed. That sounds great right? No. By placing this 1 merged tile and not taking advantage of the full Max Effective amount you are cheating yourself.

Let's look at the bonus with 100 level 1 Purple Tiles:
92% Training Speed Increase
This is a 50% increase of Training Speed over the base that I started out with.

The correct path is to start placing these tiles as you get them at level 1 and continue placing them until you have 100 the Max Effective amount. Once you reach 100 you start replacing each tile 1 by 1 with the next level up (2) until you have 100 level 2 pieces and continue on upgrading as you get more pieces.

This example shows the a Training Speed Increase of 96.3%
This is a 54.3% boost from the base 42% I started out with. This was achieved by upgrading tiles one by one to the next level.

The training speed increase shown above is reached by placing 57 level 1 and 43 lelv 2 Purple Tiles. Again keeping in line with the Max Effective amount of 100 (57+43=100).
Regardless of how many you have you should never have more than 100 of these placed on your islands at any given time unless you just want them there for visual effects.

The lesson given for Purple Tiles is applicable to ALL decor in Top War.

Pay attention to the Max Effective amount on each item.

For items with Max Effective 1 only 1 item will give you a bonus when placed on the map, for those pieces you want to merge them immediately and place your highest level on the map.
